Ring Battery Doorbell Plus utilizes a Wifi connection. The Ring app will only use cellular data when you answer an event or access a recording via a subscription or Live View while not connected to Wifi.
Does Ring Battery Doorbell Plus keep footage for later review?
It can, however this requires a subscription to Ring Protect plan, an optional service that allows you to view, save, and share videos.
