Follow the steps below to delete recent events from your Event History in the Ring app. Events include doorbell rings, Live Views, motion events, and other activity.

Deleting individual events
- Open your Ring app.
- On the Dashboard, tap History to access Event History.
- Tap Actions.
- Tap the tick box next to the event you want to delete.
- Tap Delete.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
Deleting all events at once
- Open your Ring app.
- On the Dashboard, tap History to access Event History.
- Tap Actions.
- Tap Delete All.
- Tap Delete All to confirm.
- Tap Delete All one more time to confirm again.
Important:
Once you've deleted your events, you cannot reverse the process and they can't be recovered. It can take up to 72 hours to fully delete all events.
