Which color cable do I connect to the terminal when connecting the Plug-in Adapter (2nd Generation) to my Ring Video Doorbell?
It doesn't matter which color cable you connect to the terminal. The device will work with either the red or black cable connected to either terminal.

Note: If the adapter is successfully connected to the device, the LED on the button will turn ON.

Why is it showing that my device is battery powered after I've connected the Ring Plug-in Adapter (2nd Gen) to my Ring Video Doorbell?
This is a result of a display issue with the app software. This will not affect the normal operation of your Ring Plug-in Adapter or your Ring Video Doorbell.
